Response to Barack Obama’s Quote About Change

“Change will not come if we wait for some other person, or if we wait for some other time. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for. We are the change that we seek.”

My opinion on this quote is that instead of waiting on others to

step up or step in on something important, say something for a

change. How about we take the time we have and say something?

We can’t just wait on the government to step in and take control

over the situation. It’s us, “we the people,” who have so much

limited power for things. Let’s get together and do something

about it. Our founding fathers wrote the Constitution about

change. “We the people” have to stand up for what is right and

not for what we were told our whole lives: education, bills, taxes,

housing, welfare all can change, become better. But as they say,

there’s no one man army as a unit. If we’re all united as one in

this country, we all can change things. I believe in this country; I

believe in these people.
